Mode of operation: grid-connect PV-systems

- energiebau
A photovoltaic system basically comprises three elements:
The solar modules, which turn sunlight into direct current, the mounting system, by which the solar modules are attached to the roof, and the inverter, which converts the direct current into alternating current.
The photovoltaic system is connected to the main grid via a separate meter. 100% of the solar power generated is fed to the grid and paid for by the network operator. The tariff is set by law for a 20-year period. Your individual power needs are met by the grid, independant of how much electricity is actually generated by the PV system.
Annual proceeds depend on the location, the efficiency of the assigned solar modules and inverters as well as the quality of the installation. In north and
mid-Germany good systems annually generate 850 to 950 kWh per installed kWp and in southern Germany it is 900 to 1,000 kWh.
